DENTAL EXAM & CLEANING
Every six months
Cleaning your teeth every day at home, while important, is only part of a successful routine. Visiting your dentist at least once a year may help ensure a healthy mouth. Your dentist will use professional instruments to remove plaque, tartar, and bacteria build-up that you are generally unable to efficiently clean yourself. Combining regular brushing and flossing with an annual dentist’s office visit will not only give you a more confident smile, but it will also help protect you from tooth decay, tooth loss, and periodontal disease, also known as gum disease.
CROWN AND BRIDGE
Bring back your smile
All of your teeth play an important role in speaking, chewing and in maintaining proper alignment of other teeth. Tooth loss doesn’t necessarily have to occur as you age, but if you do lose teeth they must be replaced to maintain proper function of your mouth. Fortunately, there are bridge and crown options for correcting tooth damage or loss.
FILLINGS & EXTRACTIONS
Taking Care of You
A filling repairs and restores the surface of a tooth that has been damaged by decay, fracture, or wear. If tooth decay is not repaired at its early stages, it will worsen and additional or alternative dental treatments may be necessary. With proper care and routine oral hygiene, a filling has a lifespan of 5-12 years, depending upon the type of filling material used. Extractions are reserved for cases where a more conservative approach is not possible.
